Iguazu falls

The Iguazu falls is a waterfall-area with many falls that is located on the border between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Most of the falls are in Argentina and this is also there the highest fall, called “devil’s throat”, is located. You can see the falls from both the Argentine and the Brazilian side, but I like to explain it in a way that you are above the falls (and walking among them) on the Argentine side, and that you have a panorama view of the falls from the Brazilian side.

If you are up early and have a plane of the day, you will manage to do both the Argentine side (in the morning) and the Brazilian side (in the afternoon). We woke up early and had a private tour guide together with a private driver. We stayed in a hotel in Foz do Iguzu (Brazil) and was picked up really early in the morning to go to the Argentine side first. We started of by taking the train (a small train in the park) to go to the Devil’s throat – be prepared to be wet! Then we walked on these bridges above the falls and just enjoyed the view. We had lunch in the park and then went on this boat trip where they go in to the falls – so much fun! At this point we had managed to do everything on the Argentine side, and it was time to drive back to Brazil. We enjoyed the falls from a distance and you could really get this panorama view.

Both sides do have there unique thing so I have a hard time choosing which one I liked more, if you have the time I would recommend to do them both, but either one will do!
